Robin Perry Braun has a Master’s Degree in psychology, she is a certified Energy Practitioner and ordained minister. She is working on her doctorate in Integrated medicine. She has spent more than 20 years searching for tools that bring authentic healing to the tough-to-heal afflictions. Robin is the author of “A Believers guide to the Law of Attraction”, “30 Days to Peace and Joy” and “Journey through the Storm: Overcoming Your Husband’s Porn/Sex Addiction.”
Resolutions don’t typically work. Junior himself hasn’t made a New Year’s resolution in two years. Our bodies can’t just change immediately so change must be incremental. In 2020, the whole world got faced with adversity. New Years statistics. Like in football, we have to be strong and all 4 quarters to win the game. Not just come out strong in the beginning. A lot of people have trauma bonds to things that used to bring their brain joy. This can even include becoming addicted to therapy. Robbins main goal was a therapist is to allow people to show emotion on their own, without having to have someone pull it out of them.
Dr. Terry Wahls
Dr. Terry Wahls is a clinical professor at the University of Iowa and the author of the recently updated book The Wahls Protocol: How I Beat Progressive MS Using Paleo Principles and Functional Medicine
Dr. Terry Wahls was diagnosed with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis in 2000, around the time I began working at the university. By 2003 Terry had transitioned to secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. She underwent chemotherapy in an attempt to slow the disease and began using a tilt-recline wheelchair because of weakness in her back muscles. This was the catalyst for Terry developing The Wahls protocol.
The Wahls protocol teaches a better lifestyle. This means eating for your body, meditation, and all around health. Diet is a very powerful intervention in reversing auto immune diseases and disorders. Eat lots of vegetables that vary in color. Get rid of processed food. Know your vitamin D level, and get enough sunlight on your skin. Fish oil is also very helpful. B vitamins also never hurt. Dr. Terry Wahls suggests epsom salt baths in the evening to absorb magnesium through the skin and aid in sleep.
