Happy Monday! We kick off the week with our One Life Radio in-house spiritual guru, Navee Mendoza, Ret Taylor of Ned Full-Spectrum hemp products and DeWone Bennett talking about complex trauma.
The Spiritual Daily
Mendoza starts our week off right with a dose of The Spiritual Daily from her website of the same name. Mendoza reminds us that spirituality is a practice to be learned. You may not be feeling in touch with the world while under quarantine, but know that this is normal. If you’re feeling restless under quarantine, it’s OK. We’re all having these feelings. Try your best to stay centered. And just know that this, too, shall pass.
Ned Full-Spectrum Hemp Products
Ret Taylor, co-founder of Ned, joins us to help us navigate through the ever-growing number of CBD and hemp offerings available. Taylor says that it’s imperative to research any company you’re thinking of purchasing from. Taylor and his partner founded Ned because they wanted to offer a clean, simple and effective product line that anyone will be comfortable purchasing. The founders of Ned have set themselves apart, listening to the needs of consumers and creating products to meet those needs. Taylor goes on to explain full-spectrum and why it’s so important.
All of the Ned formulas are clean, simple and effective. So much so, you can give them to your pets.

Dewone Bennett then discusses what it means to have complex trauma. Abuse over time, such as domestic violence or incest are examples of complex trauma. Sadly the abuse is usually administered by someone a person knows and trusts, such as a parent or relative, teacher or priest. Bennett says that the key to overcoming complex trauma is to talk about it. When victims stay silent they are more likely to end up in abusive relationship, self-harm or even develop borderline personality disorder.
