Being in the medical field of gastroenterology, he is the perfect person to talk about gut health as it relates to longevity. We are hearing ALL about gut health, the microbiome, probiotics, etc. in the news lately that it’s becoming a little overwhelming.
Do we really need to drink celery juice everyday for optimal health? No. It’s truly about getting back to basics for overall gut health. If you look back at how our ancestors once ate, you would realize why we are so off course. Back before artificial sweeteners ever hit the shelves even, our diets were simpler. Dr. Marv talks today about a variety of things including bariatric surgery, foods that hurt AND help the gut, signs of an unhealthy gut, and common gut issues.
