SPCA Texas Adoptions
Adoptions for animals are back in person! However, to adopt a dog, cat, or even horse, you need an appointment! Check out SPCA website, and be sure to read up on their guidelines if a beautiful furry soul catches your eye! There was a recent TikTok showing how beautiful animal sounds can be, and why you should adopt in pairs if you can! Click here to watch, but keep a tissue near! Open your heart and your hearth to a cat or dog this winter. Whether you celebrate, Christmas,, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, a homeless animal doesn't mind. They want family time, just like we do!If you are interested in Gucci the dog, Queen Vegeta the cat, or even Venus the horse, be sure to put in an application! All animals from the SPCA make beautiful lifelong companions and bring joy to each and every home.

Festive Fall Facts For Our Furry Friends
When it gets colder outside, it actually feels colder to our pets, just like it does to us humans! Get your pet slowly acclimated to the cooler winter weather with short brisk walks through the neighborhood to get their bodies ready. Even though it's cold outside, fleas, ticks, and mosquitos still exist outside! Climate change has changed where deep seeded cold affects the world, so remember to give your furry family members their parasite medication year round. Cats can get heart worms too! While a majority of cats live inside, cats are not immune to heart worms. One heart worm in a cat can kill them, but a dog can handle a larger "worm burden" before they get sick. Do your research, but remember, like children, you know best for you animals!
