Happy Thursday!

Junior is on a funnel cake high! After his friend dropped off this favorite treat, he and his daughters were left with a brain full of dopamine! We have a great show in store with Kip Watson talking about being selfish, and Dewone Bennett at the half talking about happiness as a hobby, so let’s get started!

Kip Watson - Unknown Selfishness

Kip Watson is a Licensed Professional Counselor & Supervisor and Sports Psychology Professional. With nearly 20 years of experience with athletes, coaches, families, and corporate teams, Kip can do it all as a certified high performance coach. If you struggle to receive compliments, you are either a perfectionist or selfish, according to Kip. Being selfish is a choice! Regardless of the parenting you got, you can’t point the finger at your parents. As an adult, you have to take personal responsibility for your belief system. To get the whole gist of unknown selfishness, be sure to listen!

Dewone Bennett

Discovering Happiness As A Hobby

While we get Dewone on the line, Bernadette is talking about happiness! Bernadette says to get outside and get exposure to a natural nature perfume that can naturally lower inflammation! How interesting! When we are thinking about happiness, we have to remember it can come and go. Happiness is not a trait, like being creative, where it stays around all the time. Happiness can be cyclical. Bernadette says you have to cultivate happiness and find it in all things. Dewone says that even in the darkest of times we have to find happy things. The media can create a false sense of happiness, so we need to limit our exposure to media and false portrayals of happiness. Stop comparing yourself to characters, they aren't real!At the end of the day, outside contributors can add to your daily happiness, but if you have nothing before an addition of material happiness, you won't feel happy for long. If you find happiness in material things, you're not a bad person, but you need to be happy beforehand before adding material things to the mix.
