Carbs with Jill Lane

Carbs are not always bad, but if you find yourself constantly craving them and choosing carb heavy dishes, there's probably something else going on. Sometimes it's as simple as dehydration. Or, you are in a vicious cycle of carb crashing. When this happens, the first thing you want is some form of carbohydrate. Listen in to hear Jill's advice on diet, as well we talk supplementation for inflammation and other things. You can shop our exclusive discount on our favorite Circumin supplement, which is great for lowering inflammation.
Healing After Loss with DeWone Bennett
DeWone Bennett joins us today to talk about healing after a loss and specifically rediscovering yourself after the loss of a loved one. Losing a loved one is so extremely difficult. DeWone is a licensed professional counselor with over 10 years of experience. DeWone chose this topic because it is something he deals with everyday since the loss of his daughter 15 years ago. DeWone tells us his own journey of healing after this loss and what helped him get through it. One thing that can be difficult is the thought of "getting over" that person. This can make you feel guilty and ashamed. But it is healthy to move forward in your own way.DeWone talks about how powerful it is to tell others how you feel while you are grieving. Letting others in on your emotions is very cathartic and will help you feel as though you don't have to hide them. We all grieve and heal differently, especially something so difficult as the loss of a loved one. So, no one way is necessarily the right way. But if you feel like you don't know how to move on, listen to this episode with DeWone and reach out to someone.
