do you need probiotics In today's episode we talk with Jared Ramirez about how to know if you need probiotics. Also, Troy Gardner joins us to talk about the Modern Vegan, and Tina Bernet Allen talks about how to know if your HEC is in check.

Do You Need Probiotics?

I'll just give you the answer first, yes. Everyone absolutely needs probiotics every day. In today's modern world, there is so much going against us and we are overloaded with toxins. On top of that, we are a very heavily medicated society and our guts are simply out of whack. Things that affect our gut are: processed foods, pollutants in the air, chemicals in our products, and stress. This being paired with prescription medication or antibiotics will put your body into a state of confusion and gut dysfunction.Jared Ramirez is the CEO of Enviromedica, a company whose products reflect symbiotic combinations that occur in nature. Today he joins us to talk about the need for probiotics. Our gut is full of micro-organisms, so many in fact that it is still being studied. But, one thing we do know is that a full-spectrum probiotic, like Terraflora, can fight off bad bacteria and strengthen your gut health and gut function. Terraflora is a combination of spore form probiotics and food-based prebiotics. Listen in to hear Jared tell us some of the amazing things that probiotics can do for your overall health.

Is Your HEC in Check?

Tina Bernet Allen is a top personal trainer in the DFW area. She has so much experience training people to feel and look their best. In today's episode, we talk with Tina about HEC. HEC stands for hunger, energy, and cravings. These are all influenced by our hormones. We only scratch the surface of this topic with Tina today, and she mainly focuses on how calories and hormones are correlated. This is such a good topic as so many people are on hormone therapy replacements. In reality, it could be a metabolic issue that you can pinpoint by some of Tina's tips she gives us.Don't miss next week when we continue this conversation!
