Dr. Markman "Bring Your Brain to Work" & Improving Balance #1023

BrainFinding "the right" job can often feel like finding Mr. Right. It's almost impossible. You have expectations and desires, which isn't wrong, but a lot of times the job doesn't live up to it. That's why Dr. Art Markman wrote this book. It dives way deeper than just finding the right job, it goes into how to take your morals and values to work and find true meaning while at work. Everyone has to work....that's inevitable. And, if you want to be successful while also enjoying your work, you have to understand some of the cognitive science explained in Dr. Markman's book. Today we focus on how leadership can impact the entire team, and how you can't judge a job in the first month. Believe it or not, sometimes loving what you do is a process that takes time. That's why you bring your brain to work! We will have him back on soon to continue this topic. Our favorite trainer, Daniel Tague, talks about improving your balance today. This may seem like not a huge deal, but your balance affects all day-to-day activities. If you injure a muscle, joint, tendon, etc. it could easily throw you off kilter. And when you get off balance, this will compromise every other movement. Long-term, this could be very bad. Today Daniel tell us some exercises to do (you can do them at home) to help improve your balance.
