Dr. Will Cole: "The Inflammation Spectrum"
Dr. Will Cole is a leading functional-medicine expert. He is the author of the book, "Ketotarian" and his new book, "The Inflammation Spectrum." Inflammation can wreak havoc on the body. There is a reason for inflammation, and then there is chronic inflammation. The body responds with inflammation because it is trying to fight off something or get rid of toxins. And, it can be a result of stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, depression, etc. Knowing where your inflammation is stemming from can help you to treat it correctly.Dr. Will Cole's new book includes information on food triggers, quizzes, and advice. The food we put into our body directly correlates on how our body feels and performs. When you eat something extremely processed, high in carbohydrates and high in sugar, you normally don't feel in tip-top shape afterward. This is because your body is so busy trying to process it and get rid of all of the junk. Hence - the inflammation. Getting moving and nourishing your body with real food is the start to reducing your inflammation and feeling your best. Here are some other shows we have done with Dr. Cole:
