How To Maximize Your Workout And Get Results In The Gym
We just put out a video on our instagram, @oneliferadio of Tina Bernet Allen training one of her clients! Check it out! Everyones goals are different, but most people who come to Tina want to change their body composition. You MUST go into your workouts with a plan and a strategy. Make a time and place plan in your calendar to hold yourself accountable. When you approach your workout, know what you are going to do that day. Bernadette brings up doing 100 burpees a day, but Tina advises against it. You should not overwork your body, especially a certain group of muscles. It’s not about how many you do, it is about how you do it. Tina always like to integrate all kinds of movements into her workouts, so she can get the full body and muscles moving and the blood flowing. If you haven’t seen the video on our instagram, really focus on slow correct, movements rather than pure cardio until you are just completely pooped out.

Is Psychedelic Medicine going Mainstream?
It is not a matter of if these medicines are going to become legal, it is a question of when. Dr. Dan Engle initially started studying ayahuasca, and he found himself deeply interested in it as a replacement for pharmaceuticals. Psilocybin mushrooms, commonly known as magic mushrooms or shrooms, are a polyphyletic, informal group of fungi that contain psilocybin which turns into psilocin upon ingestion. The psilocybin found in shrooms is converted to psilocin in the body and is believed to influence serotonin levels in the brain, leading to altered and unusual perceptions. The effects take 20 to 40 minutes to begin and can last up to 6 hours—the same amount of time it takes for psilocin to be metabolized and excreted. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the use of the hallucinogenic active ingredient psilocybin, which is known to strengthen the mind of magic mushrooms - and thus alter their powers. In November, the FDA issued the first psychedelic drug ever approved by the FDA, a hallucinogenic drug in the form of prilocaine, one of two types of psychedelic drugs, and the second - the most common form, LSD - because of its impact on mental health and PTSD Recovery.
The compounds in psilocybin mushrooms may give users a "mind-melting" feeling, but in fact, the drug does just the opposite — psilocybin actually boosts the brain's connectivity. We must also differentiate between recreational use and medicinal use.
