Hope & Healing with Cannabis, Foods for Brain Health #1074
Today we talk with Donna Sage about hope and healing with cannabis and with Jill Lane about 7 foods for brain health.
Hope and Healing with Cannabis
Donna Sage, M.S.S.A., is a mother, wife, and health educator who lives in Denver, Colorado. Donna also writes for the Well Being Journal. Her story involves her daughter who at the age of 14 suffered from two concussions. This resulted in a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and chronic, debilitating headaches. They spent years undergoing various treatment plans, 3 of them were:
- REAP (resting, education, accommodations, pace). Six months of this method produced only minimal improvement in Ashley’s condition, and left her still suffering from incapacitating headaches.
- Prescription drugs. These proved expensive, toxic, and completely ineffective.
- Cannabidiol. CBD, which is derived from marijuana, proved to be non-toxic, and it relieved Ashley’s incapacitating headache within 30 minutes. We eventually began supplementing the CBD with THC (which is the psychoactive agent in marijuana) to obtain more comprehensive relief of our daughter’s concussion symptoms.
So, today Donna tells us their story. She tells us the struggles her family went through and where they are now. Her daughter experienced healing with cannabis along with so many others in the world. She even joined cannabis social networks online to communicate with these people who she could relate so well to.Cannabis is widely praised for its healing capabilities. Thanks to increased awareness of the health-boosting properties of cannabis, there are more and more ways to enjoy products infused with marijuana than ever before. For example, cannabutter - butter infused with cannabis - can be used as the staple ingredient in various dishes and bakes. Above all, learning how to make cannabutter could help you to find alternative ways to enjoy the potential benefits of cannabis. As well, we cover what the current legalities are when it comes to cannabis, and what the future looks like because it's easier than ever to get hold of the medicinal drug, with online retailers of the product becoming more common. With the legalization of it for medicinal purposes in states like California, many companies have taken to selling it online. It's easier than ever to do that, with companies like this providing cannabis consulting california to sellers, so that they are able to run quality businesses with a quality product.
