Incurable Cancer: A Healing Journey
Dr. Alvin Danenberg has an aggressive form of bone marrow cancer and is currently on a healing journey. He has been joining us to give us updates on his health status and his treatment plan. Dr. Al's cancer makes his bones weak and prone to fractures. Most recently, he fell and was bed ridden for quite some time. But he pulled through and is currently walking successfully with a walker! Yay, Dr. Al!His treatment plan has been unconventional, and successful. He has not done chemotherapy, and solely using alternative treatment options. Dr. Al talks with us today about how he is implementing Immunotherapy starting this week (this is a new treatment that was just recently approved.) He was given 3 months to live in September of 2018, so he has surpassed his prognosis and is looking forward to his journey going forward.
