Kelly RyderDr. Kelly, a Louisiana native, began his athletic career as a long distance runner when he was only 14 years old. His passion for the sport earned him many accolades and awards both in cross-country and track & field. During his sophomore year in high school, he suffered a right hamstring injury that hampered his performance and almost ended his running career. With the care and guidance from a physical therapist and chiropractor, he returned to the field to participate in the U.S. Junior Olympic Track & Field. Twenty years later, Dr. Kelly's focus is to help get athletes back to their competitive field after injury.Involved in athletics much of his life, Dr. Kelly relates to the intensity of competition. Go big or go home dictates his philosophy on the field and in his practice. He continues to study and research the latest treatment protocols and science as well as invest in the latest technology to achieve better results in a shorter period of time than other doctors.Focusing a practice on sports injuries allows him to combine two of his greatest passions: athletics and rehabilitation science. His own experience in athletics allows him to understand athletes highs and lows, injuries and victories. From the Pros to the Joes, Dr. Kelly knows his athletes needs.A few of Dr. Kelly's favorite things include Saturday morning breakfast with his wife, visiting his nieces and nephews, mentoring athletes, traveling, and tossing raw hides to his quirky French bulldog, Pepe.Visit Texas Sports Chirocare
