Dr. Forrest Talley and Jackie Schlegel #968
Having children is one difficult task. Especially when the children start to throw tantrums, that's when it gets really interesting! They will test your patience more than you've ever been tested before. Dr. Forrest Talley is a clinical psychologist and he writes on his blog a very practical way to look at dealing with tantrums. When a child doesn't get what they want, but you cave in 3 out of 5 times, they will continue to throw the tantrum because they know they just MIGHT get what they want. Dr. Tally gives the logic of this concept, and just exactly how and when you should reinforce behavior.
Jackie Schlegel is back to talk about her trip to Washington D.C. to witness the testimony of the 18 year old boy who decided to get vaccinated. This made news headlines and Jackie talks about why this is not newsworthy. Also, she tells us how staged and set-up this entire thing was and how poorly treated the people were. Some of the people traveled all the way there and weren't even let in! There will also be a rally in Austin on Thursday the 28th run by Texans for Vaccine Choice.
