The holiday's are great; they are a time to gather with family, break bread, and relax. But most of the time it is not that simple.Along with the holiday's comes planning extravagant meals for many people. This can be time consuming, exhausting, and overall too much stress for one person. We talk about some of the alternatives you can do during the holiday's that will take all that pressure and stress off of you (if you are in charge of food.) Then we talk about the stress of getting together with family and there being no drama...HA. With family, comes family drama, so sometimes that is inevitable. What can be detrimental is comparing this years festivities with past years, and feeling like you were let down.We also talk about how the holiday's can create stress and anxiety for someone struggling with an eating disorder.
