Tune in to find out how a high fat, low carb diet is changing lives everywhere. The holidays are coming! Robin Perry Braun talks about the holiday suicide myth.

  1. Isn’t suicide more prevalent around holidays?• Statistics actually say suicide is lowest in December of any other month.• We project that people who don’t have family have their sadness more emphasized which would make them more suicidal• Because people tend to be more focused on sentimentality, family and traditions, these suicides more than likely impact the families greater during the holidays and create more time based traumatic memories because of how they impact rituals and traditions. There are more triggers to these memories.
  2. Why do people think of suicide?• Problems seem overwhelming• Suicidal people have “blinders” on which cause them to focus on the emotional pain caused by the problem• Their aim is rid themselves of the pain• Since they feel hopeless and helpless, they assume they are worthless• The only answer they have is to end the emotional pain by ending their life
  3. Why do you think suicide is actually the lowest? The concept of collective consciousness says we have the power to corporately raise or lower the frequency around us. During the holidays, for the most part, people overall are happier and the collective frequency is higher (speaking of US and countries that celebrate Christmas, Hanukah etc.)
