PETA's April Town Hall Meeting

Our call touched on a variety of aspects of PETA's recent investigation into the cruel world of horse racing, including details about what the investigator found, specific goals that PETA has to end the worst abuses in horse racing (while working toward a complete ban on this form of "entertainment"), what you can do to help horses, and the shock waves sent through the industry since the investigation went public, including ongoing media coverage. Ingrid talked about the Safeguard American Food Exports (SAFE) Act of 2013 (H.R. 1094), which would ban the slaughter of horses in the U.S. as well as the export of American horses for slaughter. We encourage you to urge your representative to protect horses. Visit PETA.org/HorseRacing for more information and to take action.
