FURRY FRIDAY Susan Thixton - Truth About Pet Food, Heather White - One Green Thing #1984

It’s Furry Friday! Susan Thixton joins us to talk about what is really in our pet food. Susan is a pet food consumer advocate - one of just a handful of advocates in the US that fight to hold the pet food industry and regulatory authorities accountable to existing food safety regulations.  She is the founder of Association for Truth in Pet food – a pet food consumer stakeholder organization which represents the consumer voice at regulatory meetings.  Susan is the publisher of the website TruthaboutPetFood.com

We are thrilled to talk to Heather White today, author of “One Green Thing: Discover Your Hidden Power to Help Save the Planet”. She is environmental activist and author and founder of “One Green Thing.” Heather is also a nationally recognized conservation and environmental policy expert with more than twenty years of experience leading and advising non-profit organizations.  Her non-profit, OneGreenThing, tackles anxiety about the climate crisis through joyful daily action, inspiring culture change for policy solutions.  Instead of despair, at OneGreenThing, Heather and her team inspire service and action through their Service Superpower Assessment.
