The Abandoned Ones is a DFW animal rescue group that is dedicated to local animal rescue and public education. Judy Obregon is the heart and founder behind this organization. We saw the story about Judy and the animals she saves on The Dodo and we wanted to hear her story. There are so many animals that get dumped and Judy picks them up to give them a new start. Our earth mama, Stephanie Toups, joins us to talk about the current state of recycling in America. Hint: it isn't pretty. The prices to recycle are skyrocketing, which is forcing communities to opt out. Piles and piles of trash are leaching toxins into our air. Stephanie talks all about this and opportunities for growth and change that are in the market and hopefully on the rise.
