The Water Paradox & Managing Political Disagreements #960

water paradox

"The Water Paradox: Why there will never be enough water and how to avoid the coming crisis" is a book that everyone should read because people need to open there eyes to the fact that water is not in abundance. Edward B. Barbier is professor of economics and senior scholar in the School of Global Environmental Sustainability at Colorado State University. He is an internationally recognized expert on environmental policy. Ed outlines what we are doing to our water source and how the future is a very scary place if we keep this up. Ed will be coming back to talk more about this in the upcoming weeks.

Dr. Mike McFarland joins us to talk about something that gets people a little bit heated - politics. Sadly, we live in a world where people like to beat other people down for their beliefs. How do you handle political conversations with others? Are you strong-minded and opinionated, or a little bit more conservative and soft-spoken? These conversations make a lot of people uncomfortable and even so, angry. Dr. Mike McFarland is a counseling psychologist and he breaks down how to handle these types of conversations with other people.
