Love and Kisses
I love kissing... what an amazing act of sexual desire and love. Just the word "kiss" takes my mind quickly back to my first kiss, truly a cliché kiss, a Disney kiss...classic stuff on the front porch of my family home. I was only 13 1/2 and his name was Paul George... I'm pretty sure it was his first kiss too. Only a peck and yet so powerful because that was when I realized the power of the "pitter patter" for another human heart! So what do love and kissing truly have in common? Really I don't think that much. Sometimes you find true love and sometimes you find an amazing kisser, and sometimes you find the most amazing lover ever. But if you're really lucky you find all three. And, sometimes you lose them. The deeper the connection the deeper the kiss, and that kiss lasts forever. I warned you, I just might be a Disney girl?So let's talk about that Disney girl. Is her belief in true love delusional? Maybe so, but what's so wrong about believing in something that is both beautiful and powerful, and releases endorphins and dopamine! Being in love is the best feeling in the world, and if you're lucky enough to experience true love you never forget it and you never need anything else. Love is real. Here is an excerpt from an amazing book that I’ve been reading, The Mastery of Love by Don Miguel Ruiz:“Finally, if you are aware that no one else can make you happy, and that happiness is the result of love coming out of you, this becomes the greatest mastery of the Toltecs, the Mastery of Love.We can talk about love and write a thousand books about it, but love will be completely different for each of us because we have to experience love. Love is not about concepts; love is about action. Love in action can only produce happiness. Fear action can only produce suffering. The only way to master love is to practice love.” -Bernadette
