Cancer is effecting more and more people these day. Our food, lifestyles and all the toxins in our environment add up and tell cancer cells to multiply. Dr. Al Danenberg, DDS was an extremely health conscious person...he thought. Then he was diagnosed with a form of multiple myeloma, which is cancer of the bone marrow. He was given 3-6 months to live. Dr. Al decided he wasn't going to go the conventional route and started alternative treatment. The Wonder of Lost Causes is a fiction novel about a dogs love and loyalty to a child struggling with chronic Cystic Fibrosis. The author, Dr. Nick Trout, wrote this book based on his own life story with his daughter. He talks about the struggles of all of this and how a dog in the home helped with some of those adversities.

Psychoactive mushrooms are a mysterious thing. If you have never really heard about what they can do for your mental health, you should listen to this episode. Alan Rockefeller is a mycologist and has been studying mushrooms since 2001. He studies all types too, not just the psychoactive ones.
