Gene Stone has a bio that will blow anyone away. He is the author of 45 books, reaching millions of readers with important ideas about how to work, live and thrive. As well, Gene is a graduate of Stanford and Harvard University....WOW. We are so honored to have him join us to specifically talk about his novel, "The Awareness." This is a book about animals gaining human-level consciousness—and begin an attack on human kind. Gene is an animal advocate through and through, he is also an advocate on a plant-based diet. He is the co-author with Dr. Michael Greger of the book "How Not to Die" - you can find the episode we did with Dr. Greger here. We share such a great conversation with Gene today about animal advocacy, eating for the planet, and compassion. Don't miss this one.Carol Roberge joins us to backpack on the topic of animals into the restorative gifts of nature. She wrote an article in the most recent issue of the Well Being Journal. Carol is a credited Nature Therapy Guide and her passion is something called "forest bathing." Getting in tune with nature can be so healing. Carol talks to us about some of the successes she has seen with nature therapy. Something as simple as grounding, which is putting your bare feet on the earth, can improve your mood and decrease your stress. Therefore, teaching others to get back to basics and more in-touch with our planet is Carol's mission.
