Mary Holland serves as President and General Counsel of Children’s Health Defense. She left the faculty of the New York University School of Law where she served for 17 years, most recently directing its Graduate Lawyering Program. Mary received her Master of Arts and Juris Doctor Degrees from Columbia University, and her undergraduate degree from Harvard. She has worked in international public and private law. Mary is the co-author of “Vaccine Epidemic” and “The HPV Vaccine on Trial: Seeking Justice for a Generation Betrayed”.
Children’s Health Defense Update, HPV Vaccine and More
The HPV Vaccine, human papiloma virus, is a money making machine. There are more than 100 known types of HPV. Plantar Faciatis is a type of HPV even! Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia is only known in types 16, 18, 31, and 45. Vulvar cancer is only about 30-50% of the time associated with HPV. Approximately 20 million types of 15-24 year olds are estimated to have some genital type of HPV. Most people (up to 80%) will become positive for genital HPV during their lifetime. HPV rarely* leads to cancer. HPV rarely leads to cancer. Guardisil is a vaccine produced by Merck that offers protection from 16, 18, 6, and 11. Possibly 70% of cervical cancers are in women positive for HPV types 16 and 18. The shot is administered in 3 doses at $140 per shot. The incidence rate cervical cancer with a pap smear a year is 7 out 100,000 cases a year in the US. The incidence rate of cervical cancer with the guardasil vaccine is 14 / 100,000.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on June 25 added a warning to patient and provider fact sheets for Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccines indicating an increased risk of myocarditis and pericarditis following vaccination. The warning notes reports of adverse events suggest increased risks of myocarditis and pericarditis, particularly following the second dose and with onset of symptoms within a few days after vaccination.
